Badges 7 and 8 (Turquoise, Silver)

Badges 9 to 14 (Orange, Yellow, Green, Grey, White, Gold)

These 5 badges are the final steps in the CanGym program. The classes will introduce complex skills and combinations. Children must complete levels Burgundy   Silver before registering for this class.

Ratio 1:8.
Duration: 4 hours/week

Each of the above badges consists of approximately 30 skills encompassing all  gymnastics apparatus. Program skills have been selected to ensure a clear progression from one badge to the next. Each level has been developed as a "building block" for the next level.  During each session (Fall, Winter and Spring), the children will work on routines which will incorporate the necessary skills to complete the level. Progress reports will be given to each student at the end of each session. Coaches will complete the reports to indicate which skills the student is "Learning" and which he/she has "Mastered".  A child must be able to do each skill at least 3 times consecutively, consistently and correctly to master them, and complete the level.  Classes range from 1 hour per week to 4 hours a week as they advance through the levels.  Many Badge Levels will take 2 or more sessions of gymnastics to complete.

PRE-COMP

Upon recommendation of the coaches, children will be invited to join the Pre-comp programs.  These children will train between 3 and 6 hours per week and will be introduced to competition and competition routines.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS

We offer a Special Olympics program in Rhythmic Gymnastics.  These athletes train one and a half hours a week on Saturdays.
